| My Haunted House |
I've lost count of the number of times a friend or acquaintance has asked me "How can you stand to live in a haunted house?" Well, actually it's not that bad. Sometimes, it is quite entertaining. We have furniture that moves, all by itself. Kinda cool - it gives us new decorating ideas! We find old antique stuff.,....most of it tools and stuff that we have no clue what it's for. But hey, I have to admit, neat when it just shows up. I guess that's to be expected in a house that was built two centuries ago.
Our experiences occur maybe a few times a week, sometimes more frequently during certain times of the year. After a renovation project a few years back, a lot more activity started happening. My kids have seen things, and seen people, including a woman named Alice, with long red hair.
We have all kinds of interesting orbs, light anomalies and shadow figures show up in pictures. My amateur ghost hunting has slowed down a bit in the past few years, after an experience on Sachs Covered Bridge in Gettysburg (photos will be posted soon). I don't have to go very far to find haunts though...seems like they follow me around.

Great photo
ReplyDeleteI have so many weird photos with things that can't be explained. After I delve into my photo archive, I will post a bunch. Most are photos taken at home, and the remainder are from Gettysburg.
